In this tutorial, we will see how to open the hood of a Volkswagen vehicle. First of all, we need to pull the release lever located to the left of the pedals on the plastic door pillar. After doing this, the hood will lift a few inches but will still be locked. To unlock it, we need to insert our hand between the hood and the bumper near the Volkswagen emblem and look for the release lever. Once we find the release lever, press it and simultaneously lift the hood of the car. Finally, lift the rod and hook it into the appropriate slot on the hood to secure it.
