Replacing the knob of the Volkswagen Golf is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently, which is repeated on many other vehicles in the Volkswagen range. To perform the replacement, we need to use a plastic removal tool to remove the central part of the knob with the gears engraved on it. Then we insert a flat-tipped screwdriver into the plastic of the knob to release the sides. We insert the new sides of the knob onto the base and close it with the central part. After performing this operation, we test the functioning of the knob by using the gear shift.
