How do you remove the door panel of the Volkswagen Jetta?

In order to remove the door panel of the Volkswagen Jetta, you need to loosen the screws that hold it to its housing: these screws are located at the bottom of the door and under the handrail trim. Once the screws have been loosened, you will need to pry off the window switch panel and disconnect its connector at the bottom: this will allow you to completely remove the door panel from its place in order to insert the new one. The new panel can now be properly secured and connected with its screws.
