How to remove the airbag of the 2013 VW Gol

Today we will explain how to remove the steering wheel airbag on a 2013 Volkswagen Gol. Before performing this operation, it is advisable to disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent the airbag from activating during removal and causing damage to people and things. To remove the airbag, we need to insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the side holes of the steering wheel that can push the internal lever and open the central body. Once the central body is opened, disconnect the connector and completely remove the airbag. Once the airbag is removed, if necessary, we can also proceed with the removal of the steering wheel by using a torque wrench to remove the central nut.
