In this video, we will see how to install the swivel plate for the Volkswagen Caravelle T6. If we search online for the code CTA 9PG0023000V01, it will lead us to a selection of various versions of this plate for all possible van models: the price is around 120.00 euros, depending on the supplier where you purchase it. We will need a 13mm wrench, a 13mm ratchet, and a 6mm hex key. First, we need to slide the seat forward and unscrew the two rear bolts, while in the front, we will remove the nuts, then remove the seat. Underneath there is the safety belt sensor, which we will remove; we also need to remove the rear plastic base. Now we can position the plate. The red lever should be positioned at the front (it is used to rotate the seat), then we need to rotate it to uncover the fixing screws. Now it is time to place the seat on top; in the package there are self-locking nuts that are used to secure the seat to the plate. We start from the back which is easier, while the front is a bit more difficult, but if we rotate it clockwise, keeping the door open, it can be done quite well. Reattach the safety belt sensor. The rear cap no longer fits, unless we find a way to adapt it manually.
