In this video we see how to replace the fuel cap of a Volkswagen Tiguan MK1: first of all, let's get the replacement part, which we can find for example on Amazon with the code B0BHQ69VDW at the price of 36.84 euros + 1.59 euros for delivery. We remove the two screws holding the gasket, and remove all the internal part of the door, then the plastic cover and the cap that physically closes the tank, because they need to be transferred to the other door.

Check that the tube is not blocked: it's the right time to clean it, and put it in the new internal part. Put everything back in its place.

The youtuber noticed that the lip of the new cap is slightly larger so the door does not close properly. He then decided to try to repair the old cap, gluing it and putting it back in place.
