In this guide, we will see the main instructions on how to disassemble and replace the timing belt on the Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start disassembling and removing the coolant tank and the engine support; we disconnect the various hoses and remove the distribution cover, lifting the car and removing the crankshaft pulley (after disconnecting the V-belt), as shown in the video. Now we take the necessary references for the replacement of the timing belt, installing the new original one.
