Below we will see step-by-step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the front brake pads of the Volkswagen Up. First, lift the vehicle and start disassembling and removing the front wheel; then press on the caliper piston to retract it, then unscrew the caliper bolts located on the back, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the brake caliper and then the old brake pads; clean the caliper from any remaining dirt, install the new pads, and finally reassemble the braking system!
