How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a Volkswagen Up?

To replace the front brake pads on a Volkswagen Up, lift the car with a jack or ramp so you can undo the bolts securing the corresponding wheel. Once these bolts are removed, take off the wheel to access the components behind it. By undoing the nut that secures the brake caliper, you can detach it from the disc and slide out the pads inside. After the pads are removed, insert the new ones, secure the caliper, and reinstall the wheel.
