Today's guide will show us the layout and positioning of the external fuse box of the Volkswagen Golf. First, we open the hood of the car by pulling the internal lever located at the bottom on the driver's side, and we remove the plastic cover of the fuse box located at the top right; this will give us access to the main fuses and relays, as shown in the video. Instead, we find the fuse diagram and chart in the vehicle's owner's manual, where all the codes and amperages are listed; we replace any faulty fuses with new ones, respecting the amperage.
