How to reset the service light on a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan.

To reset the service, that is, to clear the maintenance reminder on the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan, turn the ignition to the active position while leaving the engine off. With the dashboard display on, use the steering wheel controls to navigate to the system section dedicated to service. Within the maintenance screen, select the reset option for the interval and confirm the operation by following the on-screen instructions using the confirmation button on the steering wheel controls. Once the reset is complete, the reminder will no longer be displayed, and the mileage/time count will restart based on the new set interval.
