How to reset the climatronic on VAG group vehicles.

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

The most common general method for most VAG models with climatronic often relies on a combination of physical buttons: we turn on the instrument panel and press and hold these buttons on the climatronic: "foot button," "recirculation button," and "windshield defrost button." We hold them down for 5-10 seconds; we will see all the LED indicators on the climatronic light up and turn off in sequence, then we release the buttons and turn off the car for 30 seconds. This procedure resets the positions of the air flaps, clears any "soft" errors in the memory, and recalibrates the internal and external temperature sensors. If the manual method does not work, we disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 15-20 minutes, then reconnect it and start the car, also turning on the climate control and waiting for the fans to complete a calibration cycle, then setting the temperature to minimum and then maximum for a few seconds. Otherwise, we need to proceed with the reset via the OBD2 connector + app.
