How to Reset the Service Light on the Golf 4

In today's article, we will see how to reset the service light on the Volkswagen Golf Mk4. It is recommended to perform this procedure only after having the vehicle serviced. To reset the service light, turn off the ignition and remove the key, with your left hand press the button located on the right of the instrument cluster, keeping it pressed, turn the ignition on until the SERVICE light appears on the cluster, at this point release the button and slightly turn the left button to the right, now the cluster will display the car's mileage. At this point, turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify that the reset procedure has been completed correctly.
