You can completely clear the Service light on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf 6 by activating the instrument cluster, allowing access to the menu that will appear on the display: you will need to navigate right using the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel until you find the "SETTINGS" option. Then, proceed down to select "Service interval" and subsequently "Reset". Once these options are selected, a confirmation message will appear, through which you will need to confirm the reset with the OK button; when the operation is complete, you can verify that the light has been reset.
