How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf?
Model: Volkswagen Golf
MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V

You can completely clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Golf 5 by pressing and holding the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, which is labelled "0.0". You need to hold this button while the instrument cluster is off; while continuing to hold it, insert the ignition key into its slot and turn it to activate the instrument cluster. Once the cluster is activated, you will see that the Service light will turn off after a moment; at this point, you can release the button and turn off the cluster to finish.
