In a few simple steps, learn how to reset the routine maintenance (service) warning light on a Volkswagen Crafter. First, get in the vehicle and press and hold the button located at the bottom left of the instrument panel; turn on the ignition and wait for the beep, then release the button and press the M button to enter the service menu. At this point, press and hold the reset button until the service mileage counter resets; this will permanently clear the maintenance key and service light.
