This procedure is an emergency method to open the boot when the roof does not close completely, and the electrical system does not allow unlocking the boot: open the driver’s door, locate the small panel on the left door pillar (near the base of the pillar), and open the panel by lifting it with a screwdriver.

Inside, you will find a release cable.

Pull the cord with steady and firm force. The boot will then open manually: the cord is directly connected to the boot release mechanism.

After this release, it may be necessary to manually reset the roof or take the car to a workshop.
