How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

From the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Passat, you can clear the Service light that appears by turning on the ignition and pressing the OK/RESET button located on the lever to the right of the steering wheel. This will give you access to the menu that will appear on the instrument cluster, navigating with the buttons on the same lever. By selecting the "Setup" option and then the "Service intervals" option, you will access the screen that indicates the remaining kilometres until the next service. Pressing the OK/RESET button will reset the light, also resetting the scheduled maintenance intervals.
