How to reset the service light on the Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

On the Volkswagen Polo, resetting the reminder is done with the vehicle stationary and the engine off. Close the doors and turn the key to OFF. Press and hold the button below the display of the instrument panel (trip 0.0/SET). Turn the ignition to ON while holding it; when the service reset request appears, release and briefly press the confirmation button (the 0.0/SET button or the adjacent "OK/Min" button, depending on the instrumentation). Turn off the ignition, wait a moment, and turn it back on to check that the warning has been reset. If it does not reset, repeat the sequence ensuring the brake pedal is not pressed and that the ignition is ON without starting the engine.
