How to Change the Air Filter on a Volkswagen Polo VI

To replace the air filter on a Volkswagen Polo VI, first obtain the new filter, which you can find on eBay with code 267679818549 for £32.59, with free delivery. Open the bonnet, disconnect the air intake duct, and remove the manifold pipe. Using a pair of pliers, loosen and slide the locking rings to free and remove the ducts, then detach the metal pipe located on the air box. Unscrew the securing screw of the air box with a Torx 30 key, then extract the entire box from its support. Unscrew the 9 screws of the air box cover using a Torx 25 screwdriver and open the box; remove the old filter and insert the new filter into its housing. Close the cover by re-screwing the 9 Torx 25 screws and then reposition the air box on its support by re-screwing the securing screw. Reconnect all ducts, pipes, the breather, and the metal pipe, correctly repositioning the locking rings with the pliers.
