How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulb on a Volkswagen Taos

To replace a rear headlight bulb on a 2022 Volkswagen Taos, turn off the vehicle and open the trunk. Locate the affected light assembly and remove the small access panel on the inner trim of the trunk. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the screws securing the light assembly to the body. Grasp the light assembly and gently pull it outward, avoiding excessive force on the clips. At the back of the light assembly, locate the bulb holder, twist it to unlock, and remove it. Take out the old bulb and insert a replacement of the same type. Reposition the bulb holder, reinstall the light assembly, and reconnect the connector. Finally, close the inner panel and turn on the lights to check their operation.
