How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo?

To clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Polo, you will need to press and hold the button on the right side of the cluster, just below the speedometer: keep the button pressed while the ignition is off. At this point, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to switch on the ignition: continue to hold the button and then turn the one located on the left side. Now you can turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to verify that the reset has occurred.
