Learn how to open the key remote of a Volkswagen Golf 5 by following these steps: take your remote and press the release button of the metal key; once the metal key pops out, use a screwdriver to separate the two halves of the key cover (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Press the key case until you hear the locking click. Finally, join the two covers and check the correct functioning of the remote by pressing the buttons.
