Is the mirror on your Volkswagen Golf 5 damaged? Here’s how to remove and refit it. Use a plastic lever to pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable); this operation is very delicate as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Press on the locking clips to disconnect the mirror cover, and replace the damaged part with the new one. Fit the mirror with the plastic clips into the exterior mirror, and connect the terminal. Check if the mirror moves or is fixed to the mirror assembly.
