Removing the Cigarette Lighter Fuse on VW Passat

Is the cigarette lighter on your VW Passat not working? Here’s how to change the fuse. Open the door and enter inside. Use a plastic lever to remove the trim located on the left side of the dashboard, then remove the cover of the fuse box. Use pliers to pull out the damaged fuses from the compartment. After this, insert the new fuses into the appropriate slots in the compartment. Close the fuse inspection box with the cover. Test if the cigarette lighter works (turn on the ignition with the appropriate key).
