Replacement of Front Headlight on VW Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Is the front headlight of your Volkswagen Golf 5 damaged? Let's replace it with a new one. Open the bonnet by pulling the release lever and secure it. Unscrew the securing pins above the central grille, and undo the screws above the headlight using a socket spanner or battery-powered screwdriver. At this point, you will find additional pins at the bottom of the headlight (remove the plastic cover above the bumper), undo them. Disconnect the bulb holder from the headlight and remove it from the vehicle. Install the new headlight with new bulbs if damaged (always ensure they are the correct type and size) and insert the headlight into its housing. Finally, tighten the headlight pins with the socket spanner. Reattach the plastic cover on the bumper.
