Remove the Interior Light on a VW Golf 7

Remove the interior light from the VW Golf if it is damaged or if the bulbs inside have blown. Here’s how to do it. Use a plastic lever to pry between the interior light and the lens, pull the transparent lens out of the plastic of the interior light. Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Refit the lens into the interior light: push the transparent plastic with your hands until it is fully secured. Test the correct operation of the interior light after fitting. Replace the bulbs in any other interior lights in the car.
