Removing the Light Switch on a Golf 7

Want to remove the light switch knob? Here's how to take it off from inside the dashboard of a Golf. The knob to be removed is located on the left side of the dashboard; grasp the plastic knob with your hands, rotate it slightly to the right, and pull it away from the dashboard (bringing the knob towards you), then disconnect the power connector. Insert the new light knob into the dashboard slot after connecting the power cable. Operate the new knob until it clicks into place to the right and check its functionality.
