How to Remove the Light Switch from a Volkswagen Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Today, you will remove the light switch from a Volkswagen Golf 5. Get into the cabin, and as seen in the video, to the left of the steering wheel, specifically at the bottom, you will find the switch in question. Once you have located the part to be replaced, press it inwards and turn it to the right; you will hear a click, and only then can you pull it out. Proceed with caution; even though the switch is now out of its socket, you must disconnect the power plug before you can say your work is complete. Now, you are ready to replace it with a new part!
