Removing the interior light from the Golf 6? Here's how to do it. Pry between the cover of the light and the light itself (without damaging the headlining), pull the cover out from the panel and unscrew the screws of the light (if present) using a screwdriver.

If you only want to replace the bulbs, simply remove the upper lens.

Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). Refit the light into its housing (push it in with your hands until the clips lock it in place).

Test the correct operation of the new bulbs.
