Removing the Windscreen Wiper Motor from a Volkswagen Jetta

The preliminary operation for replacing the motor is to remove the wiper arms, ensuring to mark their exact resting position with a marker as a reference for reassembly. Remove the rubber caps on the arms using a special tool or a small screwdriver to avoid damaging them. Using a 13 mm socket, remove the locking nut. Use a wiper arm puller as shown in the video. Without this tool, it is very difficult to complete the operation. Remove the black plastic cover and disassemble the linkage arms, again using the 13 mm socket. Disconnect the electrical connector and extract the motor assembly. Refit the new motor and reassemble by performing the operations in reverse order.
