How to Open the Bonnet on a VW Golf

To open the front bonnet of the VW Golf, pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard. Then, lift the bonnet slightly and pull the bonnet lock lever (use your fingers to pull the lever). Raise it upwards and secure it with the stay. Now that you have opened the bonnet, you can perform your maintenance. To close the bonnet, remove the stay and let the bonnet drop down from a minimal height. Ensure that the front bonnet is closed and locked.
