Removing the Door Panel on VW Golf 4

Removing the door panel of a VW Golf 4? This operation is not too complex; here’s how to do it. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Using a lever or screwdriver, remove the window switch located in the handle (disconnect the power connector). With a screwdriver, undo the screws in the handle (remove the entire handle). Undo the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Grasp the panel with your hands and lever it off the door. Refit everything in reverse order. Reconnect the electrical connectors, clips, and the panel with the screws.
