How to Change the Key Battery in a Polo

Is the battery in your Polo key flat? Let's see how to disassemble and replace it inside the key. Take your remote and press the release button on the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Separate the plastic cover, remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic cover and test the remote with the operating buttons.
