How to Change the Key Battery in a Polo

Does the battery in your Polo key need replacing? Let's see how to change it from inside the key. Take your remote and press the release button on the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Separate the rear cover and remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Refit the plastic cover and test the remote with the door opening buttons. Use batteries of the same size and voltage.
