How to Change the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Polo
Model: Volkswagen Polo
Polo IV, Polo 4, 9N, MK IV, MK 4
- Years 2001-2009
Here’s how to change the key battery of a Volkswagen Polo: simply lift the flip key and work on the outer edge of the lower part of the remote, on the side with the Volkswagen symbol. If you can manage it with your fingers, or with a small screwdriver, lever off the lower cover until it comes off. Inside is the battery, a common CR2032 that you can find at any supermarket or newsagent for a few pounds. Using the same small screwdriver, remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a new one, paying attention to the polarity. Close the cover and the job is done.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to Reset the TPMS Light on the 2011 Volkswagen Polo
The orange tyre light indicates that one or more tyres have a pressure below the recommended limit. This can easily be resolved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in case of a puncture. After performing these actions, it is necessary to reset the light and the sensor to obtain new reading data. All you need to do is start the ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point, the reset is complete, and you can turn off the ignition. by ScegliAuto More videos
