How to Change the Battery of a Volkswagen Polo?

The battery of the Volkswagen Polo is located inside the engine bay, at the bottom right. You can spot it immediately once you lift the front bonnet. To replace it, always start by disconnecting the negative terminal using a 10 mm spanner, and then cover it with the appropriate plastic panel to prevent contact. Repeat the same process with the positive terminal, and then, using a 13 mm spanner, remove the battery retaining bracket. Replace it with the new one, reinstall the retaining bracket, and ensure you connect the positive terminal first and only then the negative.
