Replacing the External Handle on a Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

Replace the damaged handle on a Volkswagen Jetta. Open the car door and remove the hole cover caps on the side of the door. Unlock the latch on the side of the door as shown in the video, remove the left cover of the handle, then slide the handle to the left of the door (disconnect the electrical connector). Remove the door opening handle and insert the new piece into the door. Finally, attach the handle and secure the locking latch (connect the electrical connectors). Test the correct operation of the handle once the installation is complete.
