Removing the Radio from Golf 4

This guide explains how to remove the radio from a Golf Mk4. Use metal keys to remove the radio or non-original keys. Insert the keys into the slots on either side of the plastic trim of the radio, and pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video. Carefully extract the radio, being mindful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). After removing the old radio, install the new one (either original or a generic brand). Use adapters for non-original radios for the input and connector terminals.
