Removing the Radio from Golf 6

This guide shows how to remove the radio from a Golf 6 with the appropriate trim. Use plastic levers to remove the radio. Insert the levers into the slots on either side between the plastic trim of the radio and the unit itself: pull the plastic trim towards you. Unscrew the securing screws of the radio once the trim is removed. Carefully extract the radio, being mindful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). After removing the old radio, install the new one (either original or a generic brand). Test the new radio after completing the installation.
