Removing the Radio from a Golf 4

Do you want to replace the radio in a Golf 4? Here’s how to remove it from inside the dashboard and how to fit the new one. Remove the radio using the removal keys. Insert the keys into the sides of the radio: lock the radio and pull it outwards. Extract the radio by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Connect the electrical terminals to the new radio, insert the radio into the dashboard and secure it (fit the trim if the radio is not original). Turn on the radio once the installation is complete: set the various operating options.
