How to Remove the Radio Antenna from Golf 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Is the antenna on your car damaged? This guide shows how to remove the antenna from the roof of the Golf 6. Lift the tailgate and remove the cover trim from under the roof (top side). Unscrew the securing screws of the antenna (located above the support). After removing the old antenna, simply install a new one. Connect the cable (with nut) to the roof support of the car (tighten the nut with a spanner until fully secured). Remove the plastic covering the adhesive and stick the new antenna onto the roof of the car. Once secured, you can screw in the securing screws.
