How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf

Begin by pressing the top unlock button on the physical key, which will open a side slot in the electronic key. This will reveal a side clip of the key. Proceed to press and push up this clip to disengage the key cover. Once you have removed this cover, you will find the exhausted key battery, which you need to disengage and remove, completing the disassembly. At this point, to install the new battery and close the key, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
