How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Start by pressing the button located on the top of the key fob of your Volkswagen Golf, thus opening the physical key. Once done, use a flat screwdriver to pry and remove the rear side of the key. After removing the rear cover, you will access the exhausted key battery. At this point, extract the battery from its housing, and you will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
