In this very short video tutorial, we will see how to replace the battery (CR2032) in the key of an eighth-generation Volkswagen Golf. This is a very simple operation that you can easily do yourself. To replace the battery, first remove the back cover of the key; simply pull it to separate it from the remote. Once the back cover is removed, you will see the old battery that needs replacing, so replace it with a new one and finally close it all up.
