Today, you will learn how to open the key fob and replace the battery for a Volkswagen Golf 7 in simple steps. First, take your key fob and gently pry off the rear cover from the sides, as shown in the video; then, remove the old battery using something thin. Now, replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2025 3V); insert it the right way round and snap the rear cover back onto the fob, as shown in the video!
