Replacing the exterior mirror on Volkswagen Up is a really simple operation. I recommend that you use a plastic wedge for the first operation you are going to carry out, that is the removal of the old mirror. With the aforementioned wedge, pry the rear part of the glass, a small part at a time, until it is completely extracted. If you have a hard time going through the wedge, adjust the mirror to make it easier for you. Once disassembled, observe the rear hooks of the glass and those of the cap: mount the new mirror by simply pushing it by hand into these joints.
