How to Change the Outer Cover of the Wing Mirror on a Volkswagen Up

To change the outer cover of the wing mirror on a Volkswagen Up (the procedure is identical for the Seat MII and Skoda Citigo), you need to remove it from its housing, which is very simple as it is secured internally with just one screw. Once you have the mirror in hand, move the glass to one side to remove it. Use a plastic spatula to remove the trim. Now comes the more difficult part, as you need to separate the mechanism from the cover. With a bit of patience, lever with the plastic spatulas until you can release the clips. Now you can reassemble everything onto the new cover.
