Removing Headlight Bulb on VW Passat

Are the headlight bulbs on your car blown? Let’s look at removing the front headlight bulbs on a Passat. Lift the front bonnet of the car and locate the back of the front headlight. Disconnect the cover at the rear of the headlight: you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulbs using a screwdriver. Fit the new bulbs (always the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder back into the headlight housing. Cover the back of the headlight with the appropriate plastic cap. Once the bulbs are installed, test their operation.
