Removing the Door Handle from a Golf 4

Here's how to remove the door handle from a Golf 4. Open the door and locate the hole on the side. Use a screwdriver to undo the screw located on the side of the door, then remove the key cylinder near the handle, and slide the handle left or right (depending on the door). Remove the door opening handle and insert the new piece into the door. Secure the handle, refit the cylinder or cover, and tighten the securing screw. Cover the hole with the cap or gasket. Test the handle's operation.
